Do we need to replace our current ERP?
No. Your existing ERP stays in place. Your LIMS connects alongside it through standard connectors and APIs without affecting your current workflows.
Which ERP systems are supported out of the box?
SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, JD Edwards, Oracle, and Salesforce are supported natively. Additional systems can be connected through Odoo’s certified connector library and REST APIs.
Can it connect to our lab instruments?
Yes. Instruments connect via OPC UA, REST API, or custom parsers. This covers ICP-OES, XRF, GC, HPLC, balances, and most standard lab equipment.
What if we use a system not on the list?
Odoo’s connector ecosystem includes over 16,000 integrations. If your system is not covered, a custom integration can be built using standard REST APIs during the implementation phase.
How long does integration setup take?
Standard ERP connector setup is completed during the implementation phase. Custom integrations are scoped and agreed before the project begins.
Is the integration bidirectional?
Yes. Data can flow in both directions depending on your setup. Purchase orders from your ERP can trigger sample intake in the LIMS, and approved results can push back to your ERP automatically.
